[Hai-users] Omni Pro II Ethernet port weirdness

Do you have an Earth ground on your panel? If so, what is it
connected to? (Water pipe, ground rod, etc.)
Just a guess here, but this could be a ground loop of some sort. You
might try removing any Earth ground and also powering your hub and your
panel from the same outlet. Are there any outputs or inputs (including
audio) from your OPII panel that run to any ethernet devices? One other
thing that you could try to do to diagnose it, would be to gradually
disconnect each wire going to your panel and connect your ethernet after
each wire is removed to see when the issue goes away (until you're left
with only the power transformer going to the panel).
You might also try another hub to see if that fixes the issue.
