[Hai-users] thermostat control problem

I had a problem just like that 2 years ago - turned out that one of the
small socketed chips on the main board that handles the thermostat
communication was fried. I swapped it for a good one and everything started
working again.
I don't remember the details as to which chip it was, but hopefully one of
the folks from HAI can chime in with that info.
