[Hai-users] thermostat control problem

I have an OmniPro in my home which was installed around 1998; it is running f/w 1.9. I also have nine (9) thermostats (RC-80) and one (1) outdoor temperature sensor connected.

Last night I was looking at one of the thermostats and noticed that the outdoor temperature was not being displayed; this was true for all nine (9) thermostats.

Further investigation shows:

- changing the state of a thermostat (all nine) locally (mode, setpoint) does *not* get reflected back at the panel when viewing the status using a keypad

- changing the state of a thermostat (all nine) from a keypad (mode, setpoint) does *not* affect the thermostat.

- outdoor temperature sensor appears to be communicating the correct value, as display on a keypad

- all thermostats seem to function fine as a "thermostat" (so the heat is coming on correctly)

- room temperature, as displayed on a thermostat (all nine), appears to be correct

I have power-cycled the panel and all of the thermostats but I see the same behavior. I just appears that *all* of the thermostats have simply stopped communicating with the panel.

suggestions?

thanks
