[Hai-users] RS232 port test?

Hi,
 
I had a lightning strike that fried my DSL modem 2 nights ago, and now my Web-link Server can no longer connect to my OmniLT.  It connects to the OmniLT via the RS232 port.
 
My question is, is there a way to test the RS232 port?  The phone interface seems to be intact, I can pickup the phone, dial # and get into the voice menu.
 
Any suggestions/help will be greatly appreciated.
