[Hai-users] RS232 port test?

Lightening is pretty insidious. It can render rs232 ports inoperable in
only one direction but that is enough to require repair. You need to
verify the HAI can both receive and send data. I would setup the HAI
programming to send a string and verify it can be received. You can do
the same thing with receiving a string. You need to verify the server's
rs232 port is functioning as well.
If your OmniLT is bad, you will need to package it up and send it to
HAI for repair. You can call them to set that up.
