[Hai-users] OT7 troubleshooting

I thought I was out of options, but with the resurgence of interest in the group, I figured I can ask for help here.

I have an OT7 touchpanel that's worked well for many years. I was away for a few days and when I came back, the panel lit up but didn't register any presses for me to disable the alarm. I was able to disable it with the Snaplink app but not before the sirens started.

In any case, I tried to fix the OT7 by power cycling the POE connection and now it gets stuck on connecting... for a few minutes and eventually the screen just turns off. The touchpanel appears to be working because when I press it, it lights up and gives the connecting... screen.

I confirmed that the network connection at the touchpanel is good. And I know that the connection to the OmniPro is good because Snaplink works.

I don't have another OT7 to replace it with. I have a regular style keypad upstairs, which continues to work fine, but I can't easily replace the OT7 with it for testing.

What are my next troubleshooting steps? Any guidance? I assume replacement OT7s are no longer available, and the hole in the wall is too big for anything else.

Thanks.
