I haven't done that exactly, but I do control the second stage of my heating
system by time using the Omni. I placed a relay inline with the second stage
that the Omni turns on and off based on time. The primary heat is radiant
and the secondary forced air. It keeps the forced air from coming on during
the night. I could see using the same sort of system for the A/C.

Subject: [Hai-users] Omnipro II and 2 RC90 tstats programmend for load
control

It occurred to me that rather than having an electrician install a $3,000
load controller to reduce my on peak electricity use, maybe it was a good
idea to put the Omnipro II to a little more use. Has anyone written
programming or had any experience setting up an Omnipro II to only allow one
air conditioner to run at a time? I don't have enough experience with A/C to
see any potential pitfalls so I figured I'd ask before starting the project.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Jon
