[Hai-users] Motion Sensors and Cameras

I would like to use a cheap X-10 camera that's been lying in a box for years
to capture the picture of a local vandal or vandals.  This is a Wireless 
X-10
that needs AC power to work.  (I'd need to have an electrician run AC, for
starters.)

Has anyone found these reliable at all?  For the effort, should I punt to
a more commercial quality camera and recorder?
