[Hai-users] Omni Pro II programming questions...

Joe and Denis,
You both nailed it. I had a fountain that I wanted to make sure was off
when the alarm is set and it was in the same "all-off" enabled house
code. I'll just move the water pump to a different house code with
"all-off" disabled.

And yes Joe the OFF in the last line refers to the alarm mode. This is
one of my pet peeves in the OP programming. They could have been a
little more explicit and have it say When Alarm OFF or When Vacation
OFF.

Thanks for the quick reply and the help.

Tom

Tom,

I don't see anything with your three programming lines that would cause
the X10 unit to go off when you arm to NITE. The only thing I can think
of is that maybe you have an X10 ALL OFF when you set the alarm to NITE.
Your final line reads "When OFF": this is alarm mode off. Right? If my
hypothesis is correct, put the appliance module into a different house
code, and set that house code to not respond to X10 ALL OFF.

I have a recalculating hot water pump that I want to turn off when the
alarm is set to VACATION or AWAY. I installed an X10 appliance module
and everything works well except that the line I wrote shuts off the
pump whenever the alarm is set. When the system is set to NITE or NITE
DELAY I want the pump to continue to run. Line reads: "When ARM
VACATION: H2O HTR Pump OFF" and "When ARM AWAY: H2O HTR Pump OFF". The
final line reads "When OFF: H2O Htr Pump ON". Any ideas?
