[Hai-users] Aegis 3000 versus OmniProII

Same thing happened here this weekend. I spoke to AegisHome, HAI
and Worthington Distributers on Monday. It seems like the major difference for
the use I was researching is that Aegis is a release or two behind in firmware
and is probably MUCH lower priced on Aegis replacement. The OP2 move
would be $850, and the Aegis 2000 to 3000 should be considerably less.

I would contact AegisHome, althought mlawrence is no longer there and his
eMail forwarding fails. Call them on the phone.

And, yes, setup is similar but the programs need to be done over. That's a big
deal to me, and I'm considering repair (which is almost $800 less than the
OP2.)
