[Hai-users] 3 beeps at Aegis panel?

I believe it was also traced at times to a flaky comm. connection on the
consoles. Some had problems with the plug-in connectors not making good
contact.

Mike,

Someone may have other info specific to Aegis, but I'll pass on what I know
about it happening with Omni Pro II.

Several of us had the same problem and discussed it here and on the
Worthington board. In general "3 beeps" means the console is having comm.
Problems talking to the OP, so check your comm links. It may be as simple
as having a loose connection that occurred when you connected your new
zones.

It also turns out that one of the OP versions would randomly cause the
console to 3beep. I think it had to do with response to the comm, but I
really don't know the details. I do know that there was an updated ROM to
fix that problem, and it did fix it. It was the same release that included
UPB support as I recall.
