[Hai-users] Temp Sensor

Hi there:

Switched to another zone and all is well......Now I just need to create
a program to send an email to my boss when it is -40 that I am
sick......

Since all my zones were full I never thought / bothered to try a new
zone, so I moved a motion sensor, reprogrammed both and all is well (on
both)...who knew?

Thanks for the suggestion. Also wanted to mention that I was using the
Gnd on the Aux, not the zone (as per the diagram) and I do not have the
option to program the zone to '85' as per Tony's suggestion - upgrade
needed?.

Darren

Next project: HAI or HAL software interface with video.......

I said, "try the sensor on another zone (*NOT* zone 1)"...

I don't think trying it on Zone 1 is a good idea with a thermostat
hooked
up. Don't use zone 1 through the number of thermostats hooked up or it
will
conflict with the thermostat.

I seem to recall the problem Darren describes can be caused by an
extended
range temperature sensor not being set as such. If this is an extended
range
sensor, make sure it's set as an "ER Outdoor Temperature" (Type 85). Not
"Outdoor Temperature".
