Thanks for responding.  The serial cable and card were unchanged.
I config'd the controller for the appropriate "expansion" board and
interface protocol.

Once I replace the two 24VAC cubes and the laptop power adapter,
I'll try again.

I'm making efforts now to get the latest Aegis dealer software so that
I can be certain I don't have a release issue, although I don't thing the
release numbers on the controller chips changed.
