[NU Sports List] [Northwestern Sports/Football] NCAA wants FB season to start earlier

The NCAA is recommending that beginning in 2027 the FB regular season start on what is currently called ‘week 0’, the week before Labor Day weekend.  This would mean either 12 games in 14 weeks or a window to start playoffs/bowls a week earlier.
