[NU Sports] Persa played at 50% last year...

Those of us who have experienced that injury said early on that it takes
a long time to rehab, but hoped that Persa would prove the exception to
the rule.  Unfortunate that it turned out not to be completely healed
for Persa either.

He didn't need to prove anything to anybody, but still had the courage
to give it his all even when he knew he wasn't 100%.

Now perhaps he will be content to move on with the rest of his life,
which all football players must eventually do.

ESPN is stating that Persa is facing another surgery and that
his NFL prospects are nil.
