[NU Sports] NU Lax to Stony Brook

We were out of town over the weekend, so I didn't see the Lax game until last night. Fun game in the end, but it was another case of NU starting the game poorly. The same issues we've been seeing were on hand: lost draw controls, sloppy turnovers, and no flow on offense. I really hope they can be a little sharper right from the opening whistle on Friday.

Looking through the schedules of the four schools left standing, it really looks like a toss-up. Most of the four have played each other, and those games have generally been very, very close (one exception being NU v. Florida in the ALC title game). They have also played many common opponents (in some cases more than once), with very similar results. I'd say the seedings seem just about right, with Florida getting stronger as the year went along after two early losses.

Should be fun to watch.

FYI, Kelly Amonte Hiller is now 30 and 2 as a head coach in the NCAA tournament!
