>From what I have heard about the Big XII-SEC game, the bowl destination is
yet to be worked out, so I wouldn't rule out the Fiesta Bowl just yet.
While the leaders in the clubhouse are the Sugar Bowl (tradition) and
Cotton (money, Jerry Jones, money, Cowboys Stadium, money) I'm sure the
Fiesta will have it's shot at bidding. It does have UofP Stadium to play
with so it could put together a viable bid.
The Holiday Bowl would most likely require another tie-up with the Pac-12
which is not a bad thing. After all, we already have two or three ties with
the SEC so why not another game with our true conference partner. San
Diego is a better destination than any other bowl we have now, although I
wouldn't want to give up the Florida bowls.
