Thanks for the head's-up on the re-airs. I was gone last night, but got home in time to set the recorder for the midnight re-air last night, so am hoping I'll be able to watch it tonight. 

I really thought Shurna had a great chance at winning this, as he seemed well-suited to the event: he's comfortable shooting from all around the arc; he's got that quick, easy, consistent release; and with his height and long arms, he gets a high release point without having to exert as much energy jumping as some shorter players. Sounds like he really came through in the clutch.

Regarding his NBA prospects, I actually think he has a chance to be a lot more versatile offensively than someone like Paxson. He's much taller with much better hops, and has a really strong ability to finish around the rim. I think the big question mark for Shurna will be whether he can hang in there defensively. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him have a nice NBA career.
