3 minutes to go. One-point lead. If this team believes in Carmody, they need to seal a win.

So far we are as flat as a tortillla in the Second Half. Hate to say it, but after 7-0 run to end the half, we look horrible.

GREAT to see Shurna become the first 2000-point scorer in Cats history.

Akron's defense is porous, so it's specious to say Cats with healthy Cobb could have been doing against everyone what they're doing tonight, but he makes a tremendous difference. Crawford's on fire and he/Shurna/Cobb are a potent trio.

Seeing the NU defense collapse late in the half, though, was a reminder of how failures on D and on the boards did so much damage to the Cats' fortunes this season.

Would be a major letdown to fail to honor Shurna's special night with a W. So it's on to the second half...seeking a sustained effort at both ends, to make it to the second round.

A far cry from the Big Dance, indeed, but whatever the tourney, Ws for the Wildcats beat the alternative. :)
