Given that many top HS athletes are in the under $180-K bracket, the potential of a free
Hah-vahd education is a big draw given their tradition of becoming the "nation's leaders."
Let's face it, they have better press here on the east coast.

According to ESPN, Amaker is "targeting top-100 guys".
Some of the guys they recruited did have NU on their list too.
Part of the key to his success is based on the very generous needs-based scholarship
program Harvard implemented in 2006. If a family's income is less than $60K, Harvard is
free. Between $60K - $180K you pay 10% of your income. All you have to do to qualify for
these grants is get accepted.
Ivy's don't offer athletic scholarships, but Amaker can offer the next best thing. If you
get in, Harvard will pick up some or all of the cost of your education if your family
can't afford it.

For what it's worth, Sagarin ratings would put Harvard in 7th place in the Big 10, just
above Minny and NU.
They had one nice win against FSU, but only had one other game against a top 50 team,
which they lost. So, not a lot of information to go on as to how well they would fare
against the Big 10.
