I don't know if anyone else is watching the ESPN Bracketology show right now but Gottlieb just made a pretty strong case for Northwestern over Seton Hall and South Florida. St Bonnie's really hurts...big question mark is how much weight the committee gives to Cobb's injury. I do believe we'd likely be a lock if he was healthy all year...something they clearly factor in..question is how much...

I also see little justification for West Virginia as a lock when their resume is really not that different than ours...too bad the committee only factors in their 10 point loss to Kent St and not their defeat at home to Div 2 Northern KY...

They might not even have had to do the play-in game - so we could say they'd have made it even in a field of 64, before the tourney was artificially inflated. But backing into a play-in game after tanking it in Indy...I'm desperate for a tourney bid, but they just don't deserve it.
