On his radio interview, Hoge also expects that Carmody will be back next year, 
primarily because of the inability to find an "upgrade" in a coach.  He compares 
our situation to that of Minnesota football when Glenn Mason was the coach.  
Although Mason wasn't a world-beater, he did manage to get the Gophers to 
lower-level bowl games just about every year.  Since he's been fired, the 
program has dropped to the bottom of the Big Ten.  Hoge fears a similar 
situation here.
