And had they had come out on top of those winnable five games in the regular season and gone 13 - 5, the tournament game wouldn't have mattered, win or lose.  We would be in and deserve to be.

        It's painful for me to say this, but I agree. It would've been one thing had they beaten Minnesota Thursday. They might not even have had to do the play-in game - so we could say they'd have made it even in a field of 64, before the tourney was artificially inflated. But backing into a play-in game after tanking it in Indy...I'm desperate for a tourney bid, but they just don't deserve it.

        If we get in, shake your head in dismay that such a team as ours, 1 - 10 against top 50 ranked teams and 7th seed in the league, can make it to post-season.  That only points out how low the standards have become in the NCAA.  We do not deserve a bid and should not receive one.  Let's get in the right way - by WINNING.
