[NU Sports] BC's Injury Woes...

To continue with the Biblical theme, I am coming to the conclusion that Carmody may not see the promised land.
He did get us out of the slavery of low expectations and for that deserves credit.
But, just like Aaron, it may be Hardy's turn to take over and actually lead us into the land of milk and honey.

Subject: [NU Sports] BC's Injury Woes...
So it looks like Jershon Cobb is going to be out for a while - nothing wrong with his hip
that they can find, but like yours-truly, sometimes there is this pain that just won't go
away.
My being sidelined doesn't help or hurt the Cat's plan, but apparently, Cobb was expected
to step up and be the 3rd big scorer for the 2011-12 Wildcats.
In an article yesterday, Teddy Greenstein also points out that Sobolewski appears to have
hit the ol' Frosh Wall, altho I'm not sure he's just not playing against people who have
watched his tapes enough to find the holes in his Freshman's game. Greenstein also noted
that the Center position has virtually disappeared from the box score and both Luka (bad
ankle) and now Davide can't seem to put the ball in the hole.
All this injury stuff leaves a heavy burden on Hearn, who wasn't expected to start, and
Marcotullio, who started the season as NU's off the bench "Mad Bomber."
And it has got to be frustrating for Crawford and Shurna - whenever they get double
teamed, it means someone else should be open, but the guys who should be open either
aren't (either), or miss the shot.
In any case, from here it looks like NU with 4 weeks left, is once again, one man short of
being a true winner.
As the psalmist said, "How long, O Lord..."
