[NU Sports] Something to argue over

Along this vein, in case you're interested, here was the NU all-decade team
for the 2000s that I posted to HTP after the 2009 season:

As others have mentioned, it is very difficult to compare eras in football
due to the physical nature of the sport and the increase in athleticism
over the years (in addition to the completely different strategies
employed).  It's also very difficult because few of us (and definitely not
myself) have actually seen many of the pre-1990's teams given your age
and/or lack of video.  One would probably be best to delineate certain eras
and pick out the best players in that era; if one teleported Otto from 1942
to today, he may not do very well; but if he actually grew up today I'm
sure he could hold his own after going through years of training and
conditioning for the modern game.
