I regret watching NU basketball...
Gophers entered a touchdown favorite at home and the ice cold Cats went the first seven+ minutes before making a field goal and started 1-6 at the foul line (three Shurna and two Crawford misses) in trailing by scores like:

11-0
21-4
30-9

Myriad mental and physical mistakes from an NU team that looked like a Division III squad against a Division I team.   Hard to fathom or stomach such uninspired and inept play vs. a team that NU beat twice last year and should be well-matched against.  And it sure didn't look to be a case of Minnesota playing especially well as much as the Cats putting on a putrid performance rife with inexcusable turnovers, cockeyed shooting and defensive indifference.

The Cats, sparked by Marcotullio, played a bit better late - - maybe they couldn't play worse.  But Crawford has three losses.  The BTN announcer said the Cats were "only down by 15" after trailing by 22.  Half mercifully over with NU down 41-24.
