[NU Sports] If only M.L. had fouled out vs NU, before Drew C's game-ending drive :)

Just more evidence of how difficult it is to win on the road in this
league.

We just have to provide that same sort of "welcome" for the remaining
tough home games we've got against Michigan and OSU.

PSU played without two starters last night, Billy Oliver and someone
else. So they managed to overcome a "short bench" and not lose by 20
unlike the Cats against UW. Course Illinois was playing before an almost
empty gym last night instead of a packed house in Evanston with almost
half of the place Illini supporters.............

Illinois' 7-foot-1 center Myers Leonard fouled out, so Penn State coach
Patrick
hambers knew exactly what play to run off a timeout with 16 seconds left
and
he game on the line. Give the ball to point guard Tim Frazier and have
him
ttack the basket. Nice plan. Frazier hit a floater in the lane with 8
seconds
eft and Jermaine Marshall blocked Sam Maniscalco's layup at the buzzer
to give
enn State a 54-52 upset of No. 25 Illinois on Thursday night. Frazier
finished
ith 12 points and nine assists for the Nittany Lions (10-10, 2-5 Big
Ten), who
nded a three-game losing skid.
