Cats' late first-half run carried into second half - - late in the first half, Marcotullio hit two big treys and Shurna closed the half with a long & rousing trey.  Curletti played a terrific half and Crawford battled through the flu to make a strong contribution.

Cats played most assertive 2d half they've had.  There were tense moments, to be sure, but NU never stopped pressing the action, instead of waiting for a miracle.

Perhaps most gratifying is that the kids didn't hang their heads after two crushers and after falling behind MSU in first half...

If ever a turnaround game was needed, this was it.
