[NU Sports] Nice first half for Cats

Carmody changed things up - no center to start and no center for a long time.  Curletti came off the bench and gave a spark, even a pretty reverse!  Then Mirkovic came in for a bit and acquitted himself pretty well.  Shurna and Crawford are ON.  And Hearn hit a couple of nice long Js.  Cats' poor FT-shooting is exasperating.  Michigan missed a lot of gimmes.  But Cats settled into good defense and also passed the ball patiently and well.  34-27 NU.  Need a good second half, unlike that heartbreaker at home against Illinois.  This is a biggie.  Wonder why Cobb hasn't played - hope he's not hurt...would be a nice "secret weapon" for the 2d half.
