All we'll get with a playoff will be two Jan 1 bowls will be the first round (and will
rotate so we'll have non-Big 10/Pac 10 in the Rose) with the final game two weeks later.

I guess that is better than the sportswriters and coaches picking blind, but the Big 10,
with tougher early season games, will have a really hard time making it to the top 4 as we
knock each other off year after year....

Do I think a playoff is a better answer?  Not really, but I think
we'll get one within the next 6-8 years, and it won't quell
the complaints, just change who's complaining and what about.
