Pats OC Bill Obrien has apparently been named the new coach at PSU.  The last big name
Pats OC to go to a high profile school was Charlie Weiss to ND. 

 Also a little bit of irony is that the Pats first choice of a new head coach (and GM role
as well) in 1971, when they moved from Boston to Foxboro (and became the New England
Patriots), was Joe Paterno. The Patriots at the time had the number 1 pick in the draft
with an obvious future selection of Stanford's Jim Plunkett.

 Paterno who had only been the head coach at PSU for 5 years, turned down a very lucrative
offer (at the time) because he "loved working with the kids" and decided to stay at PSU
