[NU Sports] Michigan gets lucky

I agree a great play by the VaTech tight end - but I never really saw him as in, regardless of the ball bobble. His shoulder/arm landed on the line before any of his feet hit from my angle.

Oh well, a big win for Big Blue and the Big Ten nonetheless -- we needed those Michigan school wins to save some face, as most of the league is not looking better in 2012. And it was certainly more thrilling than tonight's B(C)S game (OUCH!!!) ... which looks more like the B(C)S we know and (do not) love with a blowout game between teams outside of the top 10-15 in a half empty stadium on a work night.

So the B(C)S record the past four years by conference, including this year's "title" game ...

> Non AQs: 3-1
> SEC: 5-3
> Big XII: 3-2
> Big Ten: 4-4
> Pac 12: 3-3
> Big East: 1-3
> ACC: 1-4

On to basketball season, where we still can't beat the F***'ing Illini and Wisconsin still has some clock management issues.

GO CATS!!!

I was watching at that point and 1. Couldn't believe that he didn't kick it, and 2. That they overturned the TD. It sure looked good to me and Kathryn, altho you could say he bobbled it a little going out of bounds. I thought I saw the ball bounce off his right hand as he pulled it in as he was going over the line, dragging his right foot.

Had the pass been a foot to the right, he'd have scored easily with no argument, so it's probably on the QB. However, Coale must think he's snake bit to have two crazy plays go bad inside of a few minutes.
