[NU Sports] From Greenstein: No staff changes expected

I would think that swapping the O-Line Coach and the Superbacks Coach would work well.

Just about all of the O-Line guys (with the exception of Ingalls) were moved over from TE.
Patterson, and Cushing are two top recruiters who held the TE/Superbacks job before O-Line

Of course, Cushing did a good job with the front 5 prior to this year, having two
different style QBs might have caused some problems, but 2012 will be the year of the
Colter with zone blocking for a running QB.

If we learned anything from this year's Rose Bowl it is that you can't use a giant O-Line
to grind down a fast defense. I thought that Oregon would be out of gas in the 4th
quarter, but it was Wisconsin that seemed to wear down at the end.

BW - MacPherson, the present recruiting coordinator and RB coach, mirrors the experience
of Jeff Genyck who held that dual role during the Barnett and early RW days.

Maybe all we need to do is go back to recruiting speed and brains, and let the defense
sort itself out, maybe we need more "communications" majors?

I wonder how much the Graduate Assistants do with regards to the special teams?

I certainly don't agree with it, but looks like Fitz will maintain NU's
loyalty to its assistants, even with diminishing results on the field and a
questionable talent level (particularly on D). I was hoping at least one
or two changes could help shake things up; instead, at least another year
of the status quo.
