Seems like a great kid.  NU offered him walk-on status after the Wildcats had committed to Dan Persa.

The drive he just led to tie the game was a thing of beauty - great leadership, poise and execution.

Interesting that there was no discussion among the announcers of MSU possibly going for two - - do or die, rather than OT with a PAT.  If it had been Pat Fitz and a Cats team with a Bowl drought, NU might have gone for the two-point conversion.
