[NU Sports] interesting about streak 2.0

I do think USC forfeited the Rose Bowl to us at a later date but Barnett said if we didn't win it on the field, he didnt want it

I sure as heck don't count it. I saw us lose to a team we could have beaten. Just wish SC had played by the rules and had keyshawn ineligible. Just as whoever was runner to Bush for the Heisman I'm sure doesnt consider himself the winner.

Regarding the 2003 Motor City Bowl vs Bowling Green: NU (6-6) was a 7 point
underdog to 10-3 Bowling Green, who lost the MAC Championship game but was
a respectable team under former NU assistant Gregg Brandon.

I think Keshawn may have been ruled ineligible for part of USC's season,
but I'm not sure they formally vacated the game (not that such
after-the-fact retractions actually mean anything).

Anyways I still believe NU should strive to play in the best bowl possible
and should give it all to win that bowl game. I agree with all of those
who have stated that a 1-9 all-time bowl record is much better than a 1-0
record.
