[NU Sports] New Palm projections

Regardless of what some past committee members say publicly, I can assure you most of them are very aware of how many teams each conference is receiving.  And I am willing to bet anyone that there is no way they will give the Big East 9 teams and the Big Ten 6.

Also, has any BCS school with an RPI in the mid-40s and a signature win over a number 1 or 2 seed ever been left out?

As the article Jonathan links to points out, it may be difficult for a reporter to follow what's going on at the conf level when things are moving that quickly in the committee room in a mock selection.  I can assure you for a University AD on the committee that it is not.
