Well gang, we will get the Bucks off a tough loss at home to Bucky. Will they be angry or shaken?

It's also about three hours down I-75 from my little town of Monroe, Michigan.

If this is the location of our first ever game in the NCAA tournament, I'll be there.

I was just talking with another Northwestern friend about this very thing
earlier this morning.

Indeed, I was born and raised in Dayton. (Yikes! As I like to say -- not my
fault!)

For those of you who might be thinking about descending on the Gem City,
the best place in town to eat is called the Pine Club. It actually is
fantastic. (No kidding.) Link: http://thepineclub.com/

Cassano's Pizza is really good. There are outlets around town:
http://www.cassanos.com/

The University of Dayton Arena is a remarkably okay basketball venue. The
Flyers (1967 NCAA runners-up) are a team that is consistently to be
reckoned with.

If you fly to Cincinnati, the airport is in northern Kentucky; Dayton is
about 70 miles from there.

The Dayton airport is amazingly big. Aviation is a huge deal in Dayton.
That's because the Wright Brothers are from there and Wright-Patterson Air
Force Base is in Dayton. My advice would be to fly to Chicago, connect
there and fly straight to Dayton.

If you're driving from Chicago, it's five hours down I-65 to I-70.

The best place to stay in town is the Marriott by the Arena. Though I'm
sure all the rooms will be booked by the NCAA.

I-70 and I-75 criss-cross in Dayton. There are a million hotel rooms. It
won't be a problem to find a place to stay.

For those of you going, the tourist attraction in town is the
Wright-Patterson Air Force Base museum: http://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/.
It is, truthfully, pretty cool.

Columbus is 70 miles east. Indianapolis 110 miles west. Cincinnati, as I
said, is 50 miles south (and the airport in Kentucky just across the Ohio
River, etc.)

If anyone wants more info, feel free to email me directly or we can have a
list-wide conversation all about Dayton! Let's hope this all comes to pass
...

Go Cats!
