[NU Sports] Another hard fought loss

I have to give some credit to the Northwestern fans for showing up and
making a lot of noise, which the BTN announcing crew (admittedly both NU
alums: Revsine & Morris) noted multiple times. And I can't blame the NU
fans who were actually there for letting the Michigan fans in - instead
blame those NU fans who did not buy tickets (I am among that group,
although I like to think that I have an excuse living outside the area).
In any case it doesn't matter what the crowd does or doesn't do: the guys
on the court didn't get the job done. And the lack of depth came through
in OT when Crawford wasn't able to go back out there (Mirkovic didn't suit
up); the reduction in height & athleticism gave Michigan the shots they
needed (though NU also blew chances in regulation).
What would be interesting to see is if the basketball team could develop
the attitude that the football team seems to have: where they seemingly
rise up and put on their best performances in the most hostile environments
(including when visiting fans invade their home stadium).
