[NU Sports] Another hard fought loss

The UM fans were doing their droning sound every time Michigan brought the ball up - for a
minute I thought we were at MIch. instead of "our house." 

 

The Wild Side has to figure out how to counter stuff like that - they are in the right
place, at each end of the court, although I liked it better when they were arrayed behind
the visitor's bench, the way they are at most other Big 10 venues.

 

And when they tied it up at the end of the game, our fans just disappeared.

 

The team knows this is "our house" and we need to defend it, maybe the fans in the stands
need to learn the same lesson.

Very true.  I couldn't believe the crowd erupting in "Air Ball" after Shurna's miss in OT.
I don't think that you'd hear that from the visitors in any other Big Ten arena.

We scrap like five Rockys, get good games from Hearn and Curletti, rebound better than
usual, and still we lose.  We just don't know how to close out a win.  Our offense in the
closing minutes and throughout the entire overtime was playground-based.
