Cats got pounded by State Penn.

We have to hope that the Illini continue to slide, as Purdue now has the 2 wins
"tiebreaker" in hand if it comes down to 'Cats and Boilers for a bracket slot.  At least
we split with Illinois, and with Webber's job on the line the Illini may hopefully tighten
up and keep losing.

And, by the way, bad foul shooting continues to plague NU.  Shurna & Sobo almost made
things interesting after Hummel missed two FTs...but this wasn't the Cats' night.

The streak will be 46 years.  An ugly night for the visitors.  Didn't avenge the tight
loss to PU and didn't have a good game.   No doubt that the Cats cannot afford such a poor
shooting night and they don't have a dependable solid force in the middle to contest PU's
plays in the paint.  Got destroyed on the boards and from three-point land.

Most likely have to go 4-2 to make NCAAs.  The road is tough and got much tougher and a
winnable game is scratched off the list.

This is so tense - - so much at stake and such agonizingly difficult play.  A game of fits
