If we finish 9-9 in the conference and 19-11 overall, I think that we
are definitely in the mix because of strength of schedule and our play
down the stretch.  

Last year the BT sent 7 teams to the dance.  That included all of the
9-9 teams.  The conference is much stronger this year and the NCAA field
is expanded, so I think it is reasonable to expect that at least 7 BT
teams will go this year too.

Right now we are tied in seventh place with Purdue at 5-6.

The easiest path for us to get to 9-9 is to beat Minny at home, PSU and
Iowa on the road, and either Purdue on the road or Michigan at home.  It
is certainly doable.

Purdue is 1-4 in their last 5.  That included home losses to Michigan,
Indiana, and OSU.  So they are beatable at home.

There is one easy win for them in their remaining schedule against UNL.
They have PSU at home, but PSU blew them out in Happy Valley.  To get to
9-9 they are going to have to beat PSU, NU, and MSU at home, or steal
some road wins from teams that they lost to at home.

Iowa (5-7) only has three home games left against tough teams (including
NU) and only the UNL road game looks winnable for them.

Minny (5-7) on the other hand has four home games left, but three are
against ranked teams (OSU, MSU, and IU). The only gimme they have is UNL
at home. 

Stealing a win on the road from Purdude would be huge.
