[NU Sports] Doncha Lovit?

Whoever came up with the big "3" signs in front of the Wild Side was a genius. NU gets hot
and there's this long line of 3's across the one end. Like the "K's" they put up in
baseball.

But it was fun to watch the game, and watch the Cats win without Shurna and Crawford
having to score 25! A couple of weeks ago, BC was complaining that he didn't have enough
guys who could score - Sobo was in a bit of a slowdown, and both centers were MIA on the
Box Score.

Suddenly, here comes Hearne and Marco. I used to have a term in my pregames for the guy on
the other team who was known for shooting 3's - called him the "Mad Bomber."

Right now, the Cats have 5 guys who could qualify for that moniker. Amazing.

One last thing, the TV guys kept talking about the kids who were coming to Ioway next
year. Nary a word about the signees BC has on the hook, a couple who might start.
