Well  I will stick up for Boston fans, even with our loss to the  NY Giants 

--It is ironic that a Laker fan is the one throwing stones at Boston fans--For anyone who has ever worn an away jersey or hat while attending a Laker game, you probably know what I am referring to.--Not to mention, it was in LA last year, that a Giant fan was so severely beaten by Dodger fans that he was in a coma for months and suffered permament brain damage--I understand this may  have been a few loose cannons, but there probably is a good reason why beer sales are cut off early when the Giants and Dodgers meet. And when I attend  Raider/Patriot games out here in the Bay , you can be sure I wont even think of cheering for the Pats within earshot of anyone who isnt a Patriot fan. 

I will also refer back to the 1982  7th Game of the Eastern finals when Philly clearly was going to beat Boston at  the Garden, when the fans starting chanting , "Beat LA" for  their perennial East Coast rivals -- I m sure at many other places ,bottles would have been thrown, or lovely epitaphs would have spewed from fans mouths.  I can simply suggest how this contrasted with  Vancouver fans last spring who showed their wonderful  graciousness to the Boston Bruins and their fans after losing the Stanley Cup in 7 games in one of the most exciting  Cup finals in recent history  .  Those riots sure presented the locals in a good light.


And I might also point out that every time Pittsburgh wins a championship, it seems at least a few deaths occur (I only recall one for a Boston victory)--not to knock Pittsburgh fans , but that just seems to be part of the equation.

You can add me to that list. I'm happy whenever any Boston team loses. It all 
tarted with me being raised a Lakers fan and our rivalry with the Celtics. Then 
t spread to a certain venom for all Boston teams, largely because of the 
bnoxious nature of that city's fans. Apologies to anyone on this esteemed list 
ho may be offended.
One additional note: my wife and I hosted a Super Bowl party. And, for the first 
ime, we ordered a bunch of Lou Malnati's pizzas via their website. They pack 
he pizzas in dry ice, and federal express the big package overnight. The pizzas 
ere a big hit!
