[NU Sports] Womens Lacrosse

First up for NU is the ALC tournament this weekend in Florida. Cats get a bye in the first round, then play Friday at 3:30CT. The championship game is on Saturday. The most likely scenario would have the Cats playing Florida in that game, but I don't think any of the games are gimmes. The ACC tournament is done, but I would assume there are other conference tournaments going on this weekend. 

So, final NCAA seedings and games won't be announced until after those games are complete--I'm guessing they'll be posted Sunday. 

If the Cats win the ALC tournament, I'd be stunned if they weren't the #1 seed, but then NU has been underseeded in the past. 

If they don't win the ALC tourney, I think they still should have a good shot at being #1, but I suppose they could drop to 2 or 3. Almost certain to get a first-round home game, and a second-round home game if the win that. Dates for the tournament rounds are here:
