[NU Sports] Mood indigo

I agree about Persa.
But as long as we can get 2 or 3 backs combining for 150 yards, I'll expect victory.
I also wouldn't get too gloomy over the defense - We've been doing the job, with the
exception of the (nobody else runs it ) wishbone. While I'm concerned about Nebraska -
they also run a triple option - most Big 10 Offenses lend themselves to NU's style of
play.
Ill-noise is a known factor, and even though we're playing at "their" house, our QB won't
be a first time starter. It could be a double blowout, IMHO.

I'm not very worried about Dan Persa. He's not the kind of guy who will gather much rust.
I'm much more concerned about the offensive play calling and running game. I am still
hoping that Trumpy, Smith or Green will take over as a featured back.
Go Cats!

I want to be beat Illinois more than any team on the schedule every season and I know the
'Cats can do so, but I am gloomy about the prospects of doing so on the road, with a rusty
QB and the return of the Colby Cheese defense, esp. stopping the run.
I think NU will need a big play or two from special teams or the defense to pull off the
upset.
