Well there's more reason to be optimistic -- maybe it's mood more purple and less blue now!
Kick returns will be critical to give Persa good field position and allow him to use all his weapons.
A Mark TD would be awfully nice. Opening kickoff maybe?

If you're looking for a big special teams factor, the stats this year are promising:
NU kickoff returns rank 8th nationally (out of 120 FBS teams)
Illinois kick return defense ranks 92nd nationally
NU punt returns rank 25th nationally
Illinois punt return defense ranks 57th nationally
Venric Mark will likely be a factor in this one.
