Whatever it was, it sure looked ankle, and he tried to step down and wound up hopping off
the field.
Green was impressive at the end of the game. But even more impressive was the surge from
the middle of the O-Line. They were blowing the D back 4 or 5 yards almost every play.
Very impressive.
We better not get too many injuries on D, however. The younger guys there got a good
baptism of fire in the 4th quarter 'cause the Panthers just didn't give up.
Tough loss for Indy - on a last second FG after their QB got stripped. Kevin W didn't look
very happy, but then does he ever?
State Penn lost to Bama - so that conference domination continues. And what happened to
Minny?

It looked like an ankle injury, hard to tell the extent as he had to be helped off the
field. He would be sent to the locker room before the end of the game. I'm sure we'll
get a status report from Fitz on Monday (whatever that's worth).
Hopefully Trumpy will be back next week (he didn't dress this week with a concussion
suffered a week ago), and true freshman Treyvon Green looked solid running the football so
NU should be OK and then may be able to get Smith back for the Illinois game.

Colter again shows why he's 1b at QB, and we also don't have to worry about the 2nd team
either, at least when we're playing 1AA.
Seimian ran a lot of the same offense that Colter did, but he read the passing a little
better, and those O-linemen really got a push going.
I was a little worried about the Defense at the end of the game, until I started reading
the names on the NU players. Lots of backups in the game during those last 2 drives.
Browne was on his game again, but I think we did miss diNardo a bit.
Persa looked very confident on the sidelines. You have to hope he'll be ready to play some
against Army.
I'm more worried about NU's D dealing with the triple option.
