[NU Sports] attendance guess for EIU?

I'm guessing 26,000, which is much better than 17,000 that was at the game vs. Nevada a few years ago, or 20,000 that was there in 2005 vs. Ohio.

.02: Great opportunity for Adonis Smith to win the job today. Trumpy out gives him a shot at 20 carries. Let's see what he does.

4th down calls: Give the ball to Schmidt. He's the RB who'll get that 1 yard. I presume he's corrected the case of fumbleitis he had last season.

Easy breezy 38-14 win, maybe 42-14. GO CATS!! Eric

Could not agree more about 11 am kicks.

At BC last week even with a noon kick the BC kids didn't all get there until 1.

I have a feeling it will be a bit better than that. I recall seeing a couple of
comments that season ticket sales were up. I also think the 2:30 start will
help. It's been a long-held believe that 11am starts have had a negative impact
on attendance, so this will be a bit of a test of that, as will the night games
later this year.

Sadly, I won't be in the stands for this one, but our seats will be filled!

Tom
