It's kind of ironic that Persa's excellence is the reason we've had a chance at winning every game, but two Persa mistakes (INTs after coming under pressure) have been so significant in the last two losses. 

I guess that gets back to the "horrible defense" thing--if we weren't giving up so many points in the first place, a single big mistake per game from the QB wouldn't be so costly. 

Hanging on to the ball too long was the one problem in Persa's game last year, and he hasn't fully corrected it this year. But the rest of the team isn't good enough to make up for Persa being anything less than 100% perfect, which is a shame.

That 74.8% completion rate is just silly. And it should be even better, given that he had potential TD passes dropped on consecutive plays against Michigan, and then two more potential TD catches dropped against PSU.
