I dunno - it was in his rear hand -- those replays only seemed to show it over when they blew up the ball area (and kept the line the same) and were on an angle. I think that's just a tough call to overturn either way it was called. Though I won't shed any tears for the Smug Smirk of Cheddarland.

I'm not sure they make it out of Lincoln ... and Iowa City's going to be a tough road trip as well. It might be good for Wisky if MSU is their foe so they can "avenge" their loss, but I don't see Sparty making it to Indy with those two road games left.

And it sure as heck makes our road to Detroit look almost impossible as we'll need to either win in Lincoln (ugh!) or beat a Sparty team that will have something to play for at the end of the year. Let's hope they have a LOT of turkey that weekend. :(

Caught the end of that too ... huge upset. Glad OU didn't sneak it out at the end there with the scorefest, because Tech deserved the win.

I think the big winner today is Boise State (maybe Clemson).

I don't see Okie State or K-State making it past the Sooners, Stanford will lose in Autzen Stadium and we know Bama and LSU have to face each other ... we might actually see Boise get a shot at the SEC giant (on their turf in the Superdome) for the title if the Smurf Turfers win out. Although I'm sure The Cartel (thank you again, Mr. Wilbon) will be either praying the Cowpokes win out or pushing Clemson on us with the hype machine ... or if all else fails, arguing for a "rematch" of Bama/LSU in the title game, conveniently leaving out St. Urban Meyer's whines during the OSU/Michigan rematch debate.

It was a great night of college football. Rumor has it there was a baseball game tonight as well, but I'm not sure why they bothered with all the great prime time football action. :)

GO CATS!!!
